Mumbai, May 3: A young student of IIT-Bombay allegedly committed suicide. The dead body, who was resident of Rohtak, has been found on the hostel terrace inside the campus of the institution. The student belonged to the faculty of chemical engineering, third year. His parents have been informed. A suicide note has been found near the body of the student. According to his fellow hostel mates, the young boy was not doing well academically. However, he was very active in extra-curricular activities. According to sources, he was involved with the groups who were coordinating in the functioning of the placement cell in the last semester. Mumbai Police have begun investigation. This was the second time in less than a year that another student was found dead inside IIT-Bombay campus. OneIndia News
